Default main positive battery cable

regarding a 2006 ds.........

It really makes me wonder when a golf cart shop won't do what you ask. Last year I took my cart in and got the cables replaced along with other work. I asked for heavier gauge but they put in standard and left the main cable alone. Now the main connector has corroded at the connector and my repair job has no more room in the cable length. One quarter of an inch less and there would be no connection.

At the present time the cart is at the hunt club so I can't study it. How hard is it to install the new power cable? Should I bring it back to town or is I an easy fix?

Easy Peasy fix.
The Main (+) cable runs to the solenoid. You need a few wrenches and a little skill. Disconnect the main battery terminal first and reconnect it last.

The Precedent has a "combo" crimp on the positive cable at the big solenoid post.

Does the 2006 DS have one of those too?

If so, You will also need a 5/16 ring terminal for 10ga wire and crimping pliers.
