Club car doesn't want to kick down in low gear and go up hill
Last year I purchased a 1985 club car that is lifted put new batteries in it and it would climb hills great kinda kicked down into a lower gear is what I wanna call it about a week after I put new batteries in it I shorted they wire out that runs to the farthest solonoid by passenger side I fixed wire replaced all solonoids micro switches in speed controller buss bar and speed coils and it still won't climb a hill not even a long not very step hill it will fly on level ground not sure where to turn next just like to get it fixed also smells like something is getting hot if u try a hill

Check all of your cables and connections. If it smells under load, that means something is getting hot. Heat usually forms in places of high resistance like loose connections and corroded wires.
