Question Re: these centering kits ? are they just a--

When the motor does break loose . does the armature fall clear out? or does the motor complete fall out as a unit? . Putting an armature back in its shell- [outer cover] used to be a hard job, trying to get the brushes back in place. Will any small copper wires be breaking inside i can't see. I got to get all the info i can, on this electric stuff.thanks again to he who helps bob

When I got my cart. A 90 CC. I did a complete upgrade kit from Scotty. Including motor. So, when I took the original motor off I wasn't worried about damaging it. It was a bit of a bear to come off but not too bad. I think I used a rubber mallet and maybe a pry bar to help. I did mine with the rear end still under the cart so, the worst part was lying on my side trying to do all this. In that position the motor was a little heavier than I thought when it came off the shaft. I read on here later to tie a strap and support from the top and that would have helped once the motor came off. The motor did come off in one piece. Nothing broke or fell out.
