Default Powerdrive 2 shut off voltage?

I recently installed a digital volt meter on my cart. I was watching the meter as the cart was charging and the voltage was at 60.8 volts after about 4 hours of charging. I unplugged the charger and started searching BGW looking for info on shut off voltage. I found the manual for my charger and it states the voltage at end of charge cycle is 60 VDC. ( I also checked the voltage with my fluke meter and it was 60.7 volts) Should the charger shut off at 60 volts? I'm afraid to leave the charger plugged in as I don't want to risk overcharging the battery pack.

Think I recall seeing as well as reading that 62 to 63 volts are not uncommon and not harmful either...

While I haven't seen one quite that high, it isn't uncommon to see them right at 60. As long as it is turning off when it's done and not blistering hot I see no harm

That voltage is fine as long as the amps are low. If the ammeter on the charger is around 5 amps I'd let it finish.

Thanks for the replies, The amps were low when I unplugged the charger. I am going to plug it in to see if it will finish charging. The battery volt meter is new to me and I didn't want to cook the batteries.

When you plug it back in it will go into the equalization mode if you didn't drive it any. Then you might see it go as high as 63 volts.
