I know this is a silly question...but you did re-pack the bearings while you had the hub off...right?

Newer style hubs that use plastic caps have sealed bearings! you can't pack or grease them!

Guess I have been working mainly on older carts...what year did they change to the sealed bearing? With a sealed bearing is there any need for replacement? I know they have used sealed bearing on rear axels on cars for years and years but they still need replacements from time to time...much difference in weight however. Just trying to keep my mental data base up to speed...lol. BTY...Happy Father's Day to all that it applies...!

Half way through 2003 CC started the use of the sealed bearings, and the black dust cap on the DSs. All Precedents have the sealed bearings
