Thumbs down Re: help

Red our site sponsors are here to help but they are also here to sell products so that they can afford to help. Please don't ask for help and then buy from eBay.

Welcome to BGW Red207

Our site sponsor's are here to Help, Not all of them post, but most do. And as any member does. And yes the sponsor's sell parts to make a living. But you can buy parts from any site on the net you want to. Now if you buy from our sponsors, Yes that helps them, and helps keep BGW on line for all the free help a member gets. When the sponsors or any member helps you . They are not getting payed to help, they do it for free, just to help others that need it. That's what BGW is all about, Helping each other and talking about your parts and carts

Red, I never thought about having a golf cart registered. Does that just apply to ones that will be used on the roads or all of them? What about older carts?

Probably in Florida. They are a royal PITA to deal with. In GA you "cannot" register a cart with the state. There are some local municipalities that will, but the state expressly prohibits it.

As for the precharge resistor and diodes, it will work with or without. It's a safety feature, one that sometimes causes more aggravation than it's worth to me. I have a nearly permaburn on my finger from reaching under solenoids to check them.
