Default 1985 CLub Car Redeaux

Well, maybe I have not reached "Gone Wild" status yet, but maybe one day. I am a glutton for punishment. I have acquired an 85 CC. 5 solenoid 36v. It has some wires hanging here and there, and the seat is missing, 4 flat tires, throttle pedal linkage is hooked to nothing and neither is brake linkage not even sure if I seen the speed control micro switches I have read about SO I know I will be needing some parts so I am asking now. I have seen some sites that show good parts breakdown, and I saw in another post that after I get the part number, then contact some of the sponser's on the forum to purchase, and that makes great sense to me. SUPPORT who is helping ya. WIN WIN

So TahoeDawgZ or Sergio or Scotty do any of you have some old spare 85 CC parts you wanna sell ? I will try to get a list together this weekend.

PS: still no word on that other conglomeration.

Seems like a good candidate for a full solid state 48v conversion. Save the time and $$ hunting for the toaster parts and get a hold of ScottyB.

Kind of wish I had gone that route on mine, but some of us learn the hard way. I'm trying to figure out how to squeeze some more out of mine, but I think a "radiator cap" overhaul is in order.

radiator cap overhaul ......hmmm.... is that what I am missing

well so far all I have had time to do is turn the old girl on her side and get a good look underneath. It has an aluminum frame I guess that's good. but the motor is looking rough. I disconnected the A1 and A2 and the other 2 (it is so rough I can not tell which is A and which is either a F or a S I will look that up later. I really want to get some pics from start to finish so stay tuned.

well over a month and all I have done is build a front porch, mow grass, fix a few carts, mow grass, do some fishing oh and mow grass, when I say it's going to be slow it is going to be slow. Maybe I can remember to get some pics tomorrow. I did air the tires up on old number 85 (I gave it a name) one good tire, 3 need fixin. I had a tire that kept going flat on my crappy gas cart so I swapped them lol. I did pull the motor off of old 85 and dis-mantled it. looks like I am going to need some brushes and the ring that holds the brushes, I found a set on line for about 84 dollars. but I have not bought anything yet. Front porch is expensive. pics to come.
