Default Hello everyone

I am new to the forum and very mechanical been working on motorcycles for years. I just scored a club car Cadillac late 1980s golf cart that from what I understand was for caddy dealers to take customers around the lots I will pick it up next weekend. I was wondering if anybody could tell me any info about the cart etc. It does have a couple issues I will let the forum let me know what area to start. Troubleshooting the issues I find I have been wrenching 30 years now and shouldn't be to much of a pest.. but never a cart has 4 batteries its a club car with a caddy body runs either full throttle then when you let off it wont go for about 20 minutes. Then will run again it has electrical short on lights and stuff I prolly will just rewire it. or find the short fairly easy. BTW. glad the forums here as im a member of multiple MC forums and have helped multiple times on them. THX for any comments on information about what I have just acquired or where to start on the throttle issue thx in advance. I will start in obvious places loose connections etc. thx JR.

Welcome to BGW. First start by posting serial number, should be just above the GO pedal. That will give us a lot of information about the cart.
