Re: Battery Post Repair
I've seen this done, as well as just the basic bolt in the terminal. It never creates a permanent fix, and almost always creates an issue down the road. Trojan's posts can be replaced, it's about $35. (at least that's dealer cost) Other batteries, well you can use the drill into the terminal "fix" and deal with it again later or just replace the battery. I say this as "in my experience" the "fixed" terminals almost always cause future issues.

Re: Battery Post Repair
Sometimes It'll work. It's kinda like running a car that wasn't designed for ethanol on E85. It'll work, most of the time, but chances are it's going to cause a failure in the future. But if you do it and pay attention to it, being vigilant with checking it, then it could last a long while.
