Default Nowhere to plug in my new light kit

Hey Guys - bought a light kit and I have nowhere to plug in the 12 pin, or the 9 pin for headlights.

First step in my directions after installing the push/pull switch is to plug the male 12 pin into the female 12 pin on the existing vehicle harness.

I don't think I have one. All I have behind the dash is pictured below. What do I do now? The description made it look like it was a plug n play.

2007 precedent 48 volt

07 was the last year of the prewired carts for lights. Some had it, some didn't. I don't see the plug (it'd be over by the passenger side where the other one is) You can pull up the floor mat and see if there is another wire in the little channel going up to the dash, but not then you'll need the full harness along with the light kit. The part you need will have the rear lights turnsignals brakes setup, wiring connection for brakes and main power ground for the lights. What maker did you get it from?

Thanks Stang - I bought it on ebay from 3R Sales in Ohio.

Just hung up with them and it sounds like I'm missing my entire vehicle harness. Lovely.

So where do I get the whole vehicle harness?
Or do I just need a bucket harness?

Just spoke to a club car dealer, and she didnt know what was going on.

She made it sound like I need the bucket harness, but had no idea.

Call a different dealer....

You just need the bucket harness, although they only stopped adding those to the club cars in January 2008, so if yours is missing, someone took it off.

I watched how to install a bucket harness, and you need to install the bucket harness to the factory harness in front - which there is no factory harness that runs up to front bumber.

The harness that runs to the headlight comes with the light kit.

The bucket harness has the tail light wires, brake pedal partial wires, and a +48v feed to the front dash.

It ends with the 12pin connector that comes up from the floor board on the passenger side channel behind the cup holder.

Take a picture or post a link of what you bought.

I can post a picture later on today.

You make a lot of sense, and it looks like you are right! Thank you.

This is from the same vendor but includes the "bucket harness".

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Club-Car-Pre...-/381139776616

Perhaps you can send them an email and see if they will sell you the bucket harness for the difference in money.

You will also need a 48v-12v voltage converter.
