DPI Accusense 48v
Should the charger be on(hum and get warm) without being connected to cart? The power and detection light are also on.

Re: DPI Accusense 48v
OK. Just picked it up saturday and noticed when i disconnected the cart the charger stays on and hums. The cart will stay connected to the charger while not in use so leaving the charger connected to AC power should be ok.

Re: DPI Accusense 48v
just what directions say
so leave it plugged in but unplug it before you plug cart in ?? yes it says to connect cart first then ac power so ether way you unplug it why would you leave it on when not in use ? i have 3 DPI's at shop each is on power strip that i turn off after a charge and unplug cart when i pull cart in ... i plug cart in and turn on strip Last edited by crash test dummy; 06-28-2015 at 11:22 AM.. Re: DPI Accusense 48v
I have about the same thing as Crash. I found a 15' #12 ext cord with a four gang box and a cutoff rocker switch at the Depot. Very easy to cut power and unplug cart or plug cart and cut on switch. Red light on switch lets me know if on or off.
