High speed magnet is cheapest and easiest way to increase speed.

Re: '02 cc iq speed upgrades
So it appears to have a three wire style speed sensor with a gray case motor...G.E.? Does that speed sensor just snap in? What part number for just the correct magnet for high speed?

Re: '02 cc iq speed upgrades
Yes, GE. Get with David, he will set you up. Should see about 20 mph with one of his speed magnets. The magnet needs pressed onto the end of the motor shaft, it can be LIGHTLY tapped in with a rubber mallet. Removal of the old one works best with a paint can lid remover.

Re: '02 cc iq speed upgrades
Yes it's a GE and yes it just snaps in/out. The magnet is right under the sensor. I don't have part numbers for the magnets since there's only two different ones. They're both on the site.

O.K. I ordered the speed magnet for a GE motor today from David. Hopefully it we get some extra speed out of this IQ cart for my neighbor.

Re: '02 cc iq speed upgrades
You'll get more top end speed. The GE style can be a royal PITA to install, just keep at it and know that yes, it will come off. Be sure to note directional orientation when removing the old one.
