Try jumping out the switch in the MCOR by disconnecting it and putting a paper clip into the female connections going back to the controller.

Unplug the two pin plug from the MCOR. Use a paperclip to jump the green wire to the blue wire within the connector. See how it behaves with the jumper in place. The mcor is the throttle device located under the passenger floor. If it works with the jumper in place, replace it with AM293101 conversion kit.

That did it! Thanks so much...

Is it OK to leave it in this configuration until the part gets here. I would like to use the cart until then, will it cause further problems to leave the cables jumped?

I wouldn't advise it. Its a safety switch and its there for a reason. Please consider buying from a site sponsor for the replacement part. This is how we make our living.

Just pulled off the part and I already have a MCOR 3. So from what I could find I don't need the conversion kit just a MCOR 4, Part Number 105116301. Does that check?

Exactly. MCOR3s were famous for the exact issue you are having. An MCOR4 will be a direct replacement. They're on the site too
