How to get rid of slow take off
I have a 48V cart with a little lift on it and 35" Toyo tires/8 lug 17" wheels. My controller is a CurtisPMC 1204-410 225A. I have the (6) TROJAN 8V batteries also.
I don't like the slow start when I take off, that the controller does. Does anyone have a suggestion of a better controller? Or is there another option? Thank you in advance for the "HOLY CRAP" comments and the actual helpful ones |

Re: How to get rid of slow take off
No Part of a stock cart is going to hold up to the loads imposed by these tires. I don't know of any manufacture or dealer who would knowingly sell drive components for this rig.
But, if I was in your shoes I would look to find the largest speed control, solenoid, shifting device, motor, and cables on the planet and see if that doesn't improve the torque |

Re: How to get rid of slow take off
Actually, IMO this calls for two motors, high torque, add one to the front, two 700 GE type controllers, box in the rear for more batteries and finish her off properly as a 4 wheel drive! You might at well! Right??
