99 club car quit running and won't charge
I have a 99 club car ds 48 volt. I got the car a few weeks ago and have been using it since. Last night I charged it for a bit and went for a trip around the campground. I made it about 100 yards and stopped to talk for a few when I went to pull off it kinda jumped a few times then just quit doing anything. Got it back and tried plugging in the charger and it won't kick on or anything. I am new at golf carts. Just looking for some help on which way to go about fixing it. I did check the batteries and have 51 volts across the pack.

Check battery voltage and connections. Sounds like there's an open in wiring or batteries some where. The charger needs to sense so much voltage before it will turn on.

I just checked each Side of the sylnoid and have 51 volts on each side of it also. Is my controller bad?

Put cart in tow, take neg then pos battery cables loose. Pull rear access cover and check the coil on the driver side solenoid, if it is broke or loose that could be the problem. Check for loose or bad connections while you are back there.

Everything looked good back there that was the sylnoid I was talking about have voltage on both sides. I also took the cables loose trying to reset the controller but no luck. I'm thinking the controller is shot 😒

Since the charger will not try to start, have you tried a OBC re-set?

You must have a series cart. Forward reverse lever instead of rocker switch. Should have ask that to start with.
