scratch removal in aluminum

what's the best way to get out the scratches and scuff marks in the aluminum trim? I got that Eagle One stuff but that's more of a polish... now I have shiny scratches.
I've got the whole body off and ready to go to the paint shop. Figured I'd shine up the frame and trim while it's easy access.
There must be some power tool combo...?

the only way to get out a scratch is to scratch it. you can try scotchbrite and a lot of elbow grease. keep going in all the same direction. then polish. might want to try on a hidden place first to verify it will be the look you want.

if you have a bigger area to do and want to sand it down quicker....look at a 3m roloc...wear one down on some scrap....once it's wore a little use a light touch and take out your deep parts. then work your way up with sand paper and finish with a fine wet sand....then go to town with your polish....or use a good buffing wheel. you'll just have to make your own call...a roloc will cut the deep ones out pretty quick...that would be my last resort

once you have it sanded it'll take some elbow grease....go to a local heavy duty parts(semi) store and tell them you want some good polish....they should have plenty to choose from.

Sand paper and polish makes it look like new.

Depending on how much room you have.
I use a 18 Volt Cordless drill with 4 different Diameter 2",4",6" and 8" wire Brushes, all are fine wire. It works pretty good for minor scuffs, dirt and crud.
I guess you could use med/heavy wire brush for heavy scratches.
