Default Alltrax 500A XCT Installed!

I am writing to say I just finished installing(replaced the Alltrax 500 DCX) the Alltrax XCT 500 Amp in my 2009 Precedent IQ(converted from Excel a couple of years ago). All I can say is that I am truly impressed. The best thing is full throttle through the complete pedal range - no more fake MCOR issues.

Torque is great - I could tweak it some more but probably won't. Top end speed is stupid fast. I clocked at 27 with a stock motor...thinking that is too fast though for this motor.

I can crawl around, I have great mid-range with no stutter, I have awesome top end. I am in love again with my hotrod cart.

Thank you ScottyB for your postings to help convince me this is the right thing to do.

Check out ScottyB's site -> http://www.cartsunlimited.net

I would imagine yes to your question - should work on your cart. But of all of your questions, reach out to ScottyB here.

My test cart is a stock 04 Precedent and it works awesome!~ I used the 400a unit and the torque & speed is great.
P.S.- I'm glad you like my custom program. My throttle map is the result of hours of trial and error.
It is a map of two different types of driving. My wife insisted the cart needed to be smooth at slow speeds around the horse shows ans I wanted to race around and climb hills. She drives the 1st half of the pedal and I use it all.
IQ controls are in stock starting at $529 with HD Solenoid
Alltrax XCT controller pkg for IQ
Go to bottom of the page to select 400a Tomcat or 500a Bearcat Package.

Full 500 amps - I wish I would have taken some pics - I will have to crawl up under and shoot a few when I get back in town. Tires 23-10x14s.

I am toying with doing the same thing, upgrading from my DCX500. Was it a straight plug and play swap?

@Brad2388 - I am going to hang on to. Really - your money would be better spent on the new XCT.

@basshawk84 - almost a straight swap - I ended up mounting in basically the same spot - had to drill some new holes. I didn't even think about turn 90 degrees to see what that looked like - I have seen some installs that way.
