I know when my cart was stock and you flipped the FR while driving, it would come to a stop and beep. It felt a lot like regen, but it wasn't?

Regen goes to zero current at zero speed. Plug does not.

Regen is using the motor as a generator - boosting the BEMF higher than the battery voltage so that it charges the battery and slows the cart down in the process. Regen will decrease as the cart slows down - and eventually it won't be able to generate a high enough BEMF to pump current into the battery. Then you are coasting.

Plugging is actually driving the motor torque opposite to the rotation direction which will completely stop it.

One thing I know about the Plug Brake current adjustment is that if you don't have it set high enough and you start to roll backward it will disable the throttle. The throttle will not work until the cart is completely stopped again. With it set at 200a rolling backwards in forward can be stopped by using the throttle. Don't don't know why they do that, seems dangerous to me. Forgot this is for a sepex motor only, series are different.

series motors can be plugged but they don't do Regen.

I got a 10 foot USB panel mount cable from Amazon and ran it and installed it just like the stock cable that Curtis uses. That way its conveniently located under the dash whenever I need it.

Perfect thank you... I'm doing some major mods to the dash after I get all the mechanicals working.

Once I close up the "brains compartment" I don't want to have to open it again
