No forward
I have a club car carryall 2 serial # e0504-477172. My problem is this, it statred having intermittant forward issues, so i checked the f-r switch, and the contacts on the forward side were burned and corroded and the plastic around the cotacts was melted. I put in a new switch, but no forward... Could the controller or some other part have been damaged by the bad f-r switch? I checked the motor for continuity as mentioned elsewhere in another thread, seems ok, solinoid is clicking...?

Re: No forward
Did you change the micro switches when you replaced F/R switch?

Re: No forward
If it was hot enough to melt the F&R it may have damaged a cable end at the F&R or at the motor end.

Re: No forward
The micro switches control the forward reverse directions...I had a problem with my cart and one of the wires going to the micro switch was bad...it had corrosion in the wire. If you look at the wiring diagrams it will show the color code and where the wires go...I decided to replace the micro switches while I was in there and one issue I ran into was the micro switches were different in design than the original. I would be easy to get a wire on the wrong tab...and that would stop it from moving...just a thought because I have been there...done that.

Re: No forward
Take a picture of the back of your F&R switch. I think you have a wire hooked up wrong.
