A arm vs spindle lift kits
I'm shopping for a 4 to 6" lift kit for my 2008 turf 2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of a spindle lift vs an a-arm set up?
Don't really need anything crazy, just want to be able to jump a curb without getting high centered. |

Re: A arm vs spindle lift kits
A-Arm lifts give you far more control and a much better steering feel. Spindle lifts have the tendency to wander all over the road while driving. Lots of people like spindle lifts because they're easy to install, but if you don't mind spending the money, get a good A-Arm lift kit and you'll be glad you did.

Re: A arm vs spindle lift kits
I'm a little confused if this will fit my 2008 Turf 2. My cart has the silver dust caps but the year range in the description doesn't match up.
Jake's double A-arm lift kit (4" lift). Accepts up to 23x10.5-12 tire. Club Car gas 82-96.5 DS w/metal deust covers on front hubs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012BQ0IHU..._lGxYvbH8V7JMP |

Re: A arm vs spindle lift kits
All Carryall vehicles have metal dust caps. The rear is crucial though as they changed designs in 1997. You need to make sure the year range is correct for your year.

Re: A arm vs spindle lift kits
True, and a 4" a arm from jakes is about the same price a spindle lift from jakes.
Will the jakes spindle walk or wander like you say? |

Re: A arm vs spindle lift kits
I have a double A arm 7 inch lift on my Yamaha and my buddy has a spindle lift on his ez go and I have to say that it's a world of difference the double A arm is the way to go more stable off road. And street just my 2 cents...
