HELP!! Club car Precedent popping fuse

Hello BGW. I have a Cart here where the owner decided to put on a Digital state of charge meter. He removed the battery light on the dash and installed the unit. For some reason he decided to use the wiring from the battery light and when he touched the wire to the key switch he got a big arc. Now the cart has a blown fuse 15 amp by the controller. I have unhooked the charge meter and replaced the fuse but it continues to blow it every time you turn the key switch on. Help what am I missing here?

I need to ad that I changed the obc controller and key switch still no luck yet

You have some wires melted together some where. Use you meter to find two wires that show they are connected that should not be. Or one wire that shows it is connected to the frame.

I will look at it some more in the AM. No idea what is going on with this turd

Nothing is jumping off this Cart at me. I must be missing something. Anyone have this happen before?
