2009 Precedent XCT48400 Alltrax install
I wanted to put this out there for anyone else that runs into this. I just installed the XCT48400IQ on a 2009 Excel cart. Got everything wired and buttoned up and put it on jack stands before switching to run. Well, the throttle was backwards. Started out wide open and gradually tapered off as I depressed the pedal. I called Alltrax and they said the XCT controller reads the club car throttle backwards and I needed to switch the throttle type from 5K-0 (3 wire) to 0-5k (3 wire). I did that and it solved the problem. So, anyone else that plans to install one of these you might want to look at the throttle setting before installing it. It would have been much easier to do on the bench.

Might as well post a few pictures of how I mounted it.

Are you using this on a stock motor?? Those look like original 6ga cables. Are u running stock tires or 10 or 12's. Let us know how it performs.

Why the spacers between the controller and mounting plate?? I plan to do the same install this winter. How did you get a 2ga cable through the OBC.

Most controllers rely on solid contact with that aluminum plate for surface cooling, you better check that to make sure it can on that controller, otherwise you will significantly reduce the life of it.

This controller is plastic. Even if mounted flat the heat transfer would be negligible.
