2007 48v Battery Hold Down Help Needed

I just had to recently purcase new hold-down rods due to corrosion. The "J" hook end had fell off both sides. where do these "J' hook ends hook into? There are frame mounted brackets just underneath the tray(on both sides) where the rod passes through the tray. Is this where the "J" hook is supposed to latch on to?
