Default Villager rental

So we're renting a beach house and it has this CC Villager for us to use. I'm not use to electric golf carts. Gave it a once over, found 2 cells that were below the top of the plates. Topped them off with distilled water and charged the cart. We made it about 6 blocks before it quit. Very slight alarm noise, just like the backup alarm. Shut it off, started back up and limped it back. Quit 2 more times. Anything easy I can try or are the batteries just shot. It does show charging on the gauge on the charger.

I'd call the landlord and have them fix it. Or at least report it.

Yeah, we called. Not holding my breath they will come out and replace 6 batteries though LOL wasn't listed on the rental agreement so it was just a bonus if it did work...

Probably a bad cell in one or more of the batteries.

If theres a 12 volt charger around you could try charging the eight volt batteries individually till the cart charger will kick on.

But you could have one or more completely dead batteries.

He said it was charging. If so, It's bad batteries or something else. Looks like the cable ends could be cleaned.

Yeah, took it for another quick ride last night with only my nephew and I on it, after about 10 blocks you could feel it start to slow down just a little. Got it back "home" and charged it up again. I'm 99% sure the batteries are kissed. Interstate from 2010 and definitely not maintained. Oh well, thanks for the help guys!
