Default Jensen Bluetooth marine amp wiring help

I've got a neighbor that has the Jensen CPM50 amp and speakers that he wired directly to a battery. I'm looking at the same setup for my cart but I'm wondering if it needs to be wired differently or if I need a voltage reducer. My cart is an 07 precedent wit 4-12v Trojans. Anyone tried this setup? It sound great and you just press a button to link it to your phone via Bluetooth.

Unequal loading on a battery pack will cause an unbalance namely when charging in that the batteries that are less discharged than the other will have to receive a longer charge than they need and that CAN shorten their lives... How much is not predictable... So yes you can and MANY do just tap from one of the 12 volt batteries.... Just how much you really use the little amp and what it draws will be the question of battery life..

The amp claims its: Operating voltage: 10 @ 18VDC. I'm by no means an electrician so I really am not sure how to wire this setup. Should I link the amp to all 4 batteries or do I need to get an additional battery? What about a voltage reducer?
