New Charger Questions
Model# 1-48017-4
Mfg Mod# 1-48C017E18-0000 SW# DPI-48017-A04 S/N# 15210039 This charger is currently set up for an EZ-GO txt. My cart is a 2008 CC Precedent. Can I just change the output cord to a CC round plug? I understand that I will have to bypass the CC OBC. What is the part number for the correct cord? If i decide not to bypass the CC OBC what parts would I need to make this charger useable. Is it possible?? |

Re: New Charger Questions
The club car charger has a relay in it that is controlled by the grey wire in the plug, the Lester website has some info on the bypass

Re: New Charger Questions
I don't think you will be able to easily modify a DPI accusense to work with the OBC, the charging algorithms will conflict with each other.
If the OBC is working, your best option will be to remove it entirely and sell it to offset the cost. To use the DPI You will need to: Jump the Red and Blue wires on the OBC harness. The DPI part number for the cord is: KITS0066 D.C. Output Cord Set, Club Car Round 3-pin |
