Re: What years for OBC?
I think is 1995 until October 2013 (early 14 precedent models).
Also, there were no 36v OBC systems as it requires the 3 pin round plug (positive, negative and sense wire). |

I understand this is standard on all Precedents manufactured after Sept. 2013. That was from a press release. Don't know if the date is accurate in practice. http://www.clubcar.tv/2013/11/club-c...dwide-charger/ |

Re: What years for OBC?
Makes me wonder how can it tell if one battery in the pack needs more charging that the others or It can't do this?

Re: What years for OBC?
It is the logical connection and should work fine for the useful life of the batteries baring any imbalance created by lack of water or uneven draw (accessory tap). Most users never do an equalization charge as recommended. I think an equalization charge done once a month as recommended would extend your battery useful life significantly.

Re: What years for OBC?
I have a charger that does the equalization (I think that is what it is called) charge of individual 12V batteries, when I did the hydrometer test on my pack, I found one battery a cell that was lower than the rest of the pack. I use the voltage chart to monitor the battery and used this charger to run the EQ charge. The one cell came up to .1 of the pack. it seemed to help the run time of the entire pack.
