Yes FNR should have been on Forward (and 1 wheel OFF the ground).

That reading on the Black/white wire @ 4.5v does not make sense, are You sure You have a good connection between pack negative and controller B- ?

I personally don't like rebuilt controllers.

I think scottyb said the new Alltrax XCT controller compatible with the Regen2 is shipping.

I'm getting the opposite numbers , then what I'm supposed to get....
on purple wire getting 46v
And white/ black wire I'm getting 4.5v

You are not getting the opposite numbers, each of the measurements is from a different reference point.

The White/Black wire should be 0v, same as pack negative, so when measured as indicated with positive meter probe on pack positive, You should have got the same as pack voltage (+48v nominal).

If you verified that your negative cable from pack negative is properly connected to the Controller B-, then unfortunately the controller is really messed up.

Check with scottyb to see if Altrax has a solution for the Regen2.

The next best option would be an IQ harness (revolution carts) and any IQ compatible controller.

I don't know anyone with a good long term success using fixed/repaired controllers, so I cannot recommend them.

Because yours is Regen 2, you can even swap to a much improved controller from Scotty without the full IQ changeover if you desire.

Just looking to make cart go again. I would like to make it a simple golf cart ,so new motor is not out of the question ,any info on the best conversion kit or where to go would be great ,or if Scottyb has a recommendation on best route to go (i like simple) as in function ,I don't mind spending hours and hours on install. Just a flat surface campground cart...
