Default Powerdrive 2 & Powerdrive 3 Problems

I am having a problem with my charger 1st a powerdrive 2 (22110) that I have had for years that does nothing now. When I first plugged it in I could swear I heard a click and think I saw a puff of smoke coming out of it and the breaker popped . the breaker test fine , the relay has no conductivity with the black wires removed and also no conductivity when hooked up to power and the cart.. the rectifier seemed to bench test fine but broke the lower left corner tab off when trying to remove the wire. Had another recf so I swapped that out and get nothing no click or anything . looking inside it shows its years off sitting outside in the weather.

2nd charger is a powerdrive 3 (26580) given to me that doesn’t work but is in way better looking shape then my other. Its missing the breaker but added a jumper and get nothing. I tested the diode strips( with wires removed ) side one I got 490 / 510 then nothing and nothing . the top one 513 / 468 nothing and nothing when switched probes around.
Need to fix one of them now but not sure what else to test on both…… leaning to fix the PD3 just cause it seems to be in better shape and fear something more may be cooked on the PD2 after seeing a puff of smoke

Any help would be great ,

On the PD3, measure the resistance of the relay coil (2 smaller terminals on the relay) to make sure it is OK.

If the charger is already closed, You can measure it from the end of the DC plug.

Meter positive on positive pin and meter negative on sense pin.

You should get approximately 2.5kΩ.

If You do and the relay does not click when You plug it into the cart, make sure the sense fuse (if equipped) is OK.

If the fuse is OK, run the sense wire from the back of the charger receptacle directly to pack negative to force the relay to come ON when You plug the charger into the cart.

after I did the diode test on it I went to hook up the wires again and it didn't look right . so I pulled a diagram of it and wired it accordantly . this wasn't the way it was when I took it apart so for the heck of it I pulled the breaker out of my PD2 and put it in the PD3 and went and tried it and it came on so I left it charging up the pack . it seems a little louder then the PD2 and it throws out more heat I noticed

I get 2.6 ohms out of the end of the charger plug. How do I run the gray wire to the pack neg. Do I pull the fuse and use a jumper wire over ?

If the charger is "clicking" when it turns off then it indicates that it's following a command from the OBC. If it shuts off without a click it could be an intermittent problem in the relay of the charger.
