Battery Terminal Question
My battery terminal is tight but after I drive my golf cart I notice that one of the terminals gets really hot. Any ideas why?

Re: Battery Terminal Question
For starters, I'd reverse the cable. If the same terminal is hot again, you have a bad terminal. If the other terminal gets hot, you have a bad cable end.

Re: Battery Terminal Question
Also be sure that both the cable connector and the terminal are bright shiny clean and the the connector is first on the terminal and then the lock or flat washer (if used) are next. If the cable continues to get hot despite being both clean and tight there is likely corrosion inside the cable and it needs to be replaced.
