Default Bent Club Car

Anyone e an idea how to fix this issue? The passenger side front cowl support is jacked up and I need to straighten it out... Any ideas? So far I have tried using ratchet straps from the rear frame to a tree and the same on the bent part up front, also heating the circular frame part in the front. No go... Any ideas?

You know to be very carefull with heat on aluminum. Do you have a come- a - long? It will pull a lot more than a ratchet strap. You can also break aluminum bending it pretty easy. I know that's not much help, just reminding you how difficult a job you have. Good luck.

Did not know heating aluminum was tricky. The issue I am having is when trying to pull front, it pulls down on the leaf spring so I am not really getting anywhere.

not real sure just what is bent, looks like the red arrows to me,

I would take a 2x4 , and bolt to the cowl support and extend to the left with the remaining portion as a lever. park with the front to something to prevent rolling forward and pull the end of the 2x4.

or extend to the right and lift the 2x4,..

Also not sure what is bent from the photo provided.

Is the drivers side "low" or is the passenger side high/back?

The passenger side is bent back and up towards seating area. I cannot find what is actually bent either. I might try the 2x4 trick later.

I have the same problem..I tried bolting an 8ft 2x10 thru the cowl and trim bolt holes then gently pushing the drivers side against the corner of a building..this worked a bit but not completely...I cant see any frame damage so I think the metal floor is curled up a bit on the passenger side and not allowing the dash to align ...my next move is to try pulling out and down from the cowl bracing on the passenger side..if that doesnt work,i'm going to pull it down, hol it in place and weld a bracket to hold in place..good luck.

I would do as Mr. Golf suggested with a come-a-long. By securing the driver side against a tree with a 2x4, you can slowly pull the passenger side forward an inch at a time. You will need to go an inch or two past where you want it to be as it will spring back somewhat.

Measure from the rear body to a point on the cowl support on both sides to make sure they are the same when the come-a-long is removed.

It a weld breaks during this process which is likely, either re-weld it if you can weld aluminum or bolt in a steel truss plate as I have in the past.
