Default Installed DCX400IQ, very jerky

I just finished installing a DCX400IQ and 200 amp solenoid in my 2005 precedent. Off the line, the throttle is very, very jerky. I have tried adjusting my throttle up rate down until it quit jerking, but i had to go right down to setting 1 for it to work. Now I have to have the pedal almost floored before the cart will slowly accelerate away. I've also tried uploading the clubcar2, clubcar3, and clubcar3a hex files, but none seem to take away the jerking motion without dialing the throttle up rate waaaay back.

Is this a sign my MCOR is worn out, or is there something else I should be trying? Does anyone have any other hex files they'd be willing to recommend or share?

Use the 3a file.
Throttle up should be about 3 or 4.
You may have a bad MCOR signal. Try pumping the MCOR 30-40 times with the key off. Then with the key on see if this helped scrub the contact clean.

Thanks Scotty. I've also gotten advice to try the ITS throttle curve, any thoughts there?

I don't know if this will solve your problem or not but these are the settings I use. I not completely happy but like 98%. One note since I don't use Plug Brake I zero out the throttle down setting.

The only time I was 100% happy with the throttle response of my precedent with the DCX control was using Sergio's signal reducer. But that was after a new MCOR wouldn't help any more.

Can you provide a link to this signal reducer, please? Can't say I've heard of it.

This is the thread where we came up with the idea:

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-annoying.html

The diagram is on post #31, the connectors were in case You want to build a plug and play type design, but You can just cut the wires and solder the 20kΩ resistor in the harness near the MCOR.

Post #56 has a graph showing how the throttle curve is lot "flatter" at the low end (better speed control) with the resistance change.
