ok micro switches are working

take bus bar off and move it til only master solenoid and first speed solenoid are connected

that solenoid is not engaging it is bad replace it

again test all solenoid as stated
do both tests
you may have more than one bad

when you got no difference with take off with all small wires off but the first solenoid
that tells me a solenoid is welded shut
then you only hooked up the first speed and it did not move that tells me that solenoid is bad
all test good ? no way

nothing more i can say ... i work on them all the time and the only thing that will cause what you describe is bad solenoid or micro switches
you may need to take it to a pro shop

Had a revelation and dermined the f/r switch was hooked to the bus bar instead of the coil. Runs like it should. Thanks for all you help and time with this. This site is great for assistance..
