One option is high speed rear end gears...I installed them in the wife's cart and almost doubled the speed without any issues. The cost depends a lot on your ability or if you have to have somebody do the work for you. I pulled the axel out and split the case and it looked over my head and I took it to a cart shop...the gears and labor ran about $450 but I also replaced both axel bearings and seals at the same time. I think now that I could probably do it myself.

What is a "restorer" cart?

Now I've heard of a resistor cart, are they the same.

Hill now I'm not sure of my spelling.
