Smile newbie here with a quesiton and a hello

hello everyone !!!! i have a 2000 ds and id like to get rid of the cheap looking top supports and replace them with the newer style black supports, just wondering if this is possible

Welcome to the forum Bassfisherman... are you referring to the aluminum supports? I's say take them off, prime them (green self etching zinc chromate primer) and paint them. A whole lot cheaper than replacing them. New supports are rather pricey.
