Lacking power
So I had my cart looked at by a golf cart mechanic and when he gave it back he said that when the accelerator was pressed all the way the cart was only putting out 70% power and there was a part that would need to be replaced. The problem I have is I can't remember what he said the part was. My cart is an 04 Club car ds. Does anybody know what part it is I need to get?
Thanks |

Re: Lacking power
Your cart most likely has a (very common issue) MCOR drive bar that's worn. Read this thread. If that's the problem, you can either "fix" it with a bit of 1/4" tubing (or similar repair to take up the worn space) - or replace it.
