Default 2003 Club Car stops moving

I have a AA03 club car, 48 volts that runs great for about 100 yards then with in a few seconds it slows down to a crawl and will complete stop...When it stops there is nothing hot to include wires or motor. It can sit for a few hours and it will again go great for a 100 yards and do the same thing. Yes, batteries are good and have been cleaned. All connections look good. I hooked my volt meter to see what the volt draw was. Battery pack was 49.8, while driving the voltage would drop to around 48 volts, lowest I saw was 47 when I got down on it. When it was going through its crawling and stopping process, it still had around 48 volts. After completely stopping and letting off the gas, in a matter of about 5 min the volts were back up to 49.06....Several people said the MCOR was probably bad...New MCOR and it does the exact thing, nothing changed.

OK my golf cart heroes.....I need some help...

Thanks

Does the solenoid still "clicks" when the cart stops moving?

The MCOR is only half (positive side) of the Solenoid activation circuit, the OBC is the other half (negative side).

When the cart is not working, with Key switch ON and FNR in Forward:
Measure the voltage from Controller Terminal #1 to B-. It should be +48v when You press the pedal.

Measure the voltage from the Solenoid small post where the Yellow wire is connnnect to Pack Positive. It should be +48v when the pedal is pressed.

The AA in your serial number indicates to me that it's a series car and not an IQ.... With that being said, I've had several vehicles do exactly what yours is doing. The controller is losing output when it heats up. I've been able to repair them successfully by replacing the controller.

Nothing used or rebuilt available at the moment for a series car. If you need one, let me know. We'll work out something for a good price.

I see you have the popcorn out so will let you know what happened...While doing testing suggested by my buds on here, the controller blew up...Well, I say blew up...It didn't explode but it did pop and blew out tons of grey smoke that took two days to get the taste and smell off me...lol....I found another controller but couldn't install it until yesterday because of all the rain and flooding here in NC...Put the controller on and it runs like a top...Brakes were little stiff from high water, nothing little WD couldn't take care off...Thanks for all the help...
