08 club car Precedent no fwd only reverse

Have an 08 Club Car Precedent and here is my problem.
Shorted out the Curtis controller on my 06 DS and took the good controller out of the 08 Precedent and the 06 was up and running again.
Now replaced the 08 Precedent with a new one and now only reverse works.
Hear no click in forward.
Returned the new controller back to the 06 DS and installed the original controller back in the precedent and the same thing happens no forward only reverse..
Reverse alarm works tried to reset the OBC and still nothing.
Is the problem the speed sensor?
Would the speed sensor allow the golf cart to run in reverse?
Have charged battery's, and reading 59 volts.
The reverse forward switch works and jumpers out the connection and that does not seem to be the problem. At a lost.

Does the solenoid click when you try to go in both directions?

The speed sensor will not keep the vehicle from running when it fails. It will still run fine with a bad sensor, only slower. Are you absolutely certain you are jumping the correct wires together for the F&R Switch? Orange to Brown would be forward and Orange to Blue would be reverse. If that's how you're doing it, move to the back of the car and unplug the 16 pin connector from the controller and do a continuity test between the brown wire at the F&R switch and the brown wire in the 16 pin connector and make sure the wire isn't broken somewhere. If all checks out fine, you need to replace the controller. I know it's brand new, but stuff like this can happen.

Your the best! Was the switch.
Checked the FR switching I had the orange wire on the fwd side instead of the middle where it should of been.
Even took a picture of it before removing the wires and it showed the Orange wire on the drivers side.
Go figure.
