4" a ARM LIFT ON 2010 Club Car precedent
I'm looking to lift my 2010 Club Car Precedent.. I had my hip replaced in Feb so I'm thinking that a 4" A-ARM lift from Jakes with 10" wheels and 20" Tires won't be as bad getting in and out as a 6" with 22" tires (Roughly 4"Difference right?) Just wondering if I will have an issue with the Brake Cable with the 4" lift VS. the 6". Thanks

Depending on which lift kit you go with, you may or may not have an issue. What kit will you be using?

I gotcha. Jakes has good stuff. We're not a dealer for them so I'm not sure if you'd have any issues or not. We are a dealer for All-Sports. I've never installed one of their 4 inch kits though. We use the 3 and the 6. No issues at all with the 3". The 6" has been known to work well without brake mods if you use the standard duty springs. But, I highly recommend using the HD springs.

Dave, as my name implies im upn here in jersey and i priced a kit from you with a wheel and tire combo but the shipping killed it for me or else i would of gone with you. I strongly believe in supporting site sponsors especially with all the help you give for free. My local guy will do a rhox 6" with steel 10" wheels and 22" tires for 750 installed with me trading back in the new 8" wheels and tires i just got from him 3 weeks ago. im gonna bite the bullett and go with the 6" lift and 22s,

Re: 4" a ARM LIFT ON 2010 Club Car precedent
I don't think you'll find the 4" kit all to much different from the 6" kit. The difference is really negligible in total height with mud tires. I built a cart for a former NFL player who had back and hip surgery and he was really happy with the 6" kit for ease of entry and exit from the cart.
