Limo cart research
Hey bgw people. I am just starting to do some research. I have 2 club car ds iq's and a 3rd wrecked frame in the garage. Question is I'm looking to used the wrecked frame to convert one of my current carts into a limo. They are all the exact same frame so I'm guessing I should be cut and weld nothing to special probably adding some support. Where can you get the center seat. Has any one tried this that can give me some advice. Pros and con? Thanks in advance. uploadfromtaptalk1440650665301.jpg

Re: Limo cart research
Mine was a kit and for an EZGO but same principle. Yes you can do all of the fab work but buying a kit makes things much simpler. Comes with everything you need. Cables, wires, hardware etc. the hardest part was convincing myself to cut a perfectly good cart in half
Now that I have done one with help could do another one in less than a day. |

Re: Limo cart research
Awesome that yourself! I have wanted a limo for 2 years and was about to cut my precedent in half to do the conversion when I found 2 DS 6 passenger carts and bought them. The limo has been a seriously fun restoration project. I am taking it out for the first time Labor day weekend. You can find the seat pod on ebay. I would suggest adding a few extra inches between the front seat pod and the next row of seats as it is a little tight in stock form, but not nearly as tight as an ezgo limo. Good luck, I wish you were closer I am scrapping a DS frame today!

Re: Limo cart research
I have only seen president kits. Think it has something to do with ds is linkage and president is wires for the pedal.
