What is this part (Hill Brake)

I'm replacing my hill brake and I purchased the whole kit and I plan to remove and replace this weekend but I just saw another hill brake kit that included this part (pictured). I mean, should I replace that part also? I looked up the parts list and I don't even see this part? Does anyone know what this part is called and where it is located?

I have a 2001 Club Car DS 48 VOLT electric.

Thanks for any information you can give me on this?

UPDATE!!!!!!!!

okay, I believe I figured it out (photo attached) but does anyone know the name of that specific part and can I order just that one part online? The website I'm searching doesn't even sell that part. I purchased the kit but my kit didn't come with that part.

If you purchase a hill brake kit make sure it has that part (still don't know the name). Some kits come with it and some don't, so I had to purchase two kits just for that one part. I couldn't find anyone that sold that part just by itself. just an FYI. Live and learn

you have to buy the right kit for your year cart. Some years use that part and earlier ones dont
