Default Battery Light Question

Not sure if this is normal and I just never paid close enough attention or if there is a possible problem. I have a 2013 Club Car Precedent 48V with the 6, 2014 8V batteries . I noticed while plugging it in to charge the orange battery light illuminated for about a second and than went off and never came back on. Is this normal function or is there an underlying issue causing the light to illuminate? Tried using Google ** before asking and came up with nothing.

My OBC is bypassed but I seem to recall that before I did that that my cart did the same thing and I assumed the flash was the carts way of telling you that the OBC and battery charger was linking up....

BTW Saw your pics; good looking cart....

Whew, thanks everyone for chiming in. Seems I just never paid close enough attention while plugging it in to notice the light. Enjoying the cart so far although I see it becoming another expensive hobby like everything else. Already looking to get more speed out of it.
