250 Amp fuse options
hey guys-
I'm Looking for suggestions & options to hold a 250 amp fuse for my controller. ( XCT 48400 ) . I was out in the woods running the cart mildly - and melted the end off the fuse holder I was using. It was one I got off of Amazon - nothing fancy. What's everyone else using?? Thanks ! |

Re: 250 Amp fuse options
Thanks guys.. I'll use those.
I had, we'll still have a similar fuse. The holder I had - after investigating on why one end literally melted off - was intended for 1/0 wire. Instead of post type connections, it used crimp Allen held connection. When I used 4awg it must not have been a solid connection resulting in creating resistance - thus the melting. Looking back - I can't believe I overlooked it. I should have caught such an obvious error. |
