Default Need help identifying battery part number for 2006 Precedent

I have finally reached the time where I need to replace the batteries in my 2006 Club Car precedent.

Thanks to many of you I've been able to maintain them for several years longer than I originally thought.

Can someone tell me the part number of the batteries I need to order?

I've attached a few photos.

Any idea for the best price from local source (Cleveland, Ohio) as I would think shipping cost would be too expensive?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Batteries are kinda Ford versus chevy round here ....2006 model you have can be converted to 6 8volts I believe but if you want to stay with 4 12's , US Battery , Crown or Trojans would be tops I think ...I ve had good luck with the Sams club cheepies (Durcell's) on my cart but I had no choice really as no battery dealers close to me ...

I have a membership to Costco and BJ's. Do either of them sell these batteries?

Cleveland is a large city you will have absolutely no trouble finding several sources for batteries. I would Google or Yellow Page for battery stores and find some that stock a 12 volt Industrial (Golf Cart) Deep Cycle batteries. any one of the above mentioned batteries Crown, US Bat, and Trojan are all good batteries with the 1275 being pretty much the benchmark...

Don't be fooled by someone trying to sell you Marine Deep Cycle batteries either as they just don't work well for very long...

Thank you. I am google searching also to find local dealers.

What's interesting is that the Trojan brand is the most expensive. I see Sam's has a generic (I guess) and others that cost much less.

Why is the Trojan T1275 so much higher than the others? It has to be more than just their brand name, right?

Check the weight of the batteries. The more they weight the thicker the lead in the plates, the better the battery.

Among other things where are they made, by who and namely what is the weight of the batteries? Real commercial heavy duty deep cycle batteries need plates made of thick lead to store more energy.

Will Sam's Club Duracell batteries work? Sure they will. Will they last as long? Perhaps...

How do I determine which batteries I currently have? (photos above)

I know it's Trojan but what's the part number. I want to buy the exact same batteries that I have now.

Please help. Thanks.

In the Trojan line up you have 2 choices with one being the T1260 these batteries are rated at 140 AH and then it's portly brother the T1275 rated at 150 AH and to the best of what I know your Club Car/Trojan batteries are closest to the T1275 battery.

In general you want the most amp hours you can pack into a battery and the closer you get to a pack total of 1,020 amp hour the better off you are. This is why the 4/12 carts are at such a disadvantage over 6/8 carts when it comes to the size of their "gas tanks" which is what your battery pack is.
