What size wheels can I put on my club car president without altering the ride height
Hi guys, I'm new to this but have bought an older club car president which I intend to do as a project. I'm going to change the whole bodywork etc. what size wheels will I be able to put on it without altering the height with a lift kit? I want a low rider really, with low profile Tyres. Any advice will be appreciated. Many thanks pic of it attached, not sure on the year as I only pic it up tomorrow. Cheers.👍

You can go with heavy duty leaf springs on the rear and a 1 inch spacer block on the front and run 14 inch wheels with low profile tires. Looks like what they have it the photo you posted

Also, if you're happy with the rear springs you have now, you can keep them and change to longer shackles to go with the spacer block.

Both great advice thanks guys.. Just found out it's a 2008 model, I pick it up this afternoon so I'll know a lot more about it when it comes. Thanks again, I may be posting more on this thread, asking for some ideas and thoughts, any advice would be greatly appreciated if I don't go for the truck option, by that, I mean, if it's going to be too difficult!, I will probably go with something like this.. (See pic) what size do you think the rims and Tyres are on the new picture?
Thanks again for the help.... |

That set up is probably around a 205/30 tire on 14" rims. It's what I have on one of my carts and it looks similar.

That looks fantastic!! Love the red seats etc! I will definitely go for this look, hope you don't mind!? What bodywork did you change, and what did you change too? Did the rims go straight on it? What did you do to get them on ie, spacers etc? Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. 👍

Didn't change any body work and the wheels slapped right in without any modifications. This cart is a 96 and the springs and shocks are in less than good condition. My body rubbed a little in 90° turns under throttle but the tires wore the body down so it doesn't rub anymore. if your cart is newer and the suspension is in good or better shape you shouldn't have any modifications to do at all. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions let me know.
