convert Club Car DS 04 to 48v
Someone told me that with the older club car 36v motors I can just put 6 8v batteries in my golf cart to convert it to 48v. and it will go WAY faster than it does with 36v now. the only thing I'm worried about is will it burn up the motor or anything like that? I know ill have to change the solenoid and get a new charger.

Re: convert Club Car DS 04 to 48v
also I found high speed gear upgrades. for the axle(I think) and I was wondering...wouldn't it be cheaper to just do that instead of buying new batteries and the conversion kit and charger?
