Default 2004 Club Car turn signal lights

when I drive at night with the head lights on and use my turn signals quite often I only get a few blinks then they stop working, I have changed the flasher unit for an electronic one but with no improvement.
In the daylight (no headlights) they work OK, the main supply is 48 volts reduced to 12 volts for the lighting.

My neighbor is also experiencing the same problem

Hook them up , Jump streight from Car battery (12 Volt) , so this takes the reducer out of the picture.
If they work then the reducer is either defective or wired wrong.
PS. Many of the kits you now order can run streight off of 16 Volt (2x8 Volt Batteries).
This is OK if you do not do a lot of night driving since it will deplete the 2 batteries
which you have connected more rapidely than the others .

Hi gmorrison, thanks for the tip I will try from a separate 12 volt supply and see what happens.
