No. You have the Excel drive system. It'll reject the magnet.

No. It only works on vehicles with the IQ drive system. IQ didn't come out until 2002

On an ADC motor it's a piece of cake. Take the two screws out of the sensor and remove the magnet. It's held on with one bolt. Put the new one on and re install the sensor. Very simple. It can be done with the motor in the car. The GE motor is a little more tricky. The magnet is pressed onto the end of the motor armature. Taking the motor out and doing it on a bench is the easiest way for the GE.

The ADC motor is black and has a speed sensor that is shaped like a top hat. There are two screws holding the speed sensor in place. The GE motor is grey with a flat speed sensor that snaps into place. Post a pic of it and I'll identify it for you.
