info about 1998 club car
I have a 1998 club car 48 v regen I think that it is regen 2 because it has a silver controller .My question is are they so unreliable ? Is it worth keeping and upgrading. Is going for a higher amp controller the way to go for a plum quick motor? Looking for a little more speed. Can the solenoid with resistor be
removed I was told it is for the regen braking. |

Re: info about 1998 club car
Does the cart run. If so you can get some speed by unhooking the speed sensor. It is on the end of the motor. There are lots of regen 2's out there running just fine.
I think Scotty b sells a new controller that works on the regen 2 without much trouble. Plumb Quick motors also work on them. |
