Default 205/50/10 hard compound tire

I have neighbor who uses his cart like a car, he drives the cart more than anyone I know and he burns through tires very fast, largely because most 205/50/10 tires are very soft rubber compound.

Anyone know of any tires that are industrial compound?

I thought DOT tires were for that kind of driving.

I have similar cart usage and rapid tire wear also. Currently running a set of Dubro Excel Touring in that size. They were advertised as a DOT tire but they don't have a DOT number and are stamped "not for highway use". i'm not fluent in tire regulations. Never the less, I'm getting better wear than previous sets. Had them a year+ and hardly any signs of wear yet (as measured by the mark 1 eyeball). The sidewalls seem stiffer than previous "turf tires", so, I'm currently at 10-12 PSI front and 20-22 PSI rear. Relatively quiet also.
